Historical Mysteries
Mystery, μυστήριον (mustérion) in Greek, means “something secret.” Knowledge in the original language is gnosis which is γνῶσις (gamma nu omega sigma iota sigma) which in English letters you can translate as g-n-o-s-i-s. The real importance of the word esoteric, is not just that it is something hidden, but that it is hidden within our own experience.
